This resembles a classic freight house common on most all railroads. Freight houses were used for receiving, loading, unloading and storage of freight for customers. This medium size freight house is loosely based on a structure used on the C&O Railroad and the building measures a scale 70′ by 24′ with 12′ tall walls.

This model is one of our Hobbyist line of models. It uses simple construction and instructions, making them relatively quick and easy to build while still using our excellent graphics and details.

This yellow lapboard with white trim freight house model matches the Yellow Lapboard Cricket Depot and Yellow Lapboard Yard Buildings for a unified look. It has 3 track side loading doors, 3 loading doors opposite and 1 at the end. At the other end is the office area. Optional details include:
